Obituary for Malcolm Lex Wildman

Malcolm Lex Wildman, 80, of Mecca, Indiana, died Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. Born on November 12, 1937 in Mecca, he was the son of James Seward Wildman and Erice Mae Myers Wildman. He married Dottie Straw in 1957 and she passed away in 1986. On July 12, 1988 he married Becky Parker Wildman, in Kentucky, she survives.

Malcolm graduated from Mecca High School in 1956; he then worked at Myers Lumber in Rockville until it closed. He retired as a Carpenter from Indiana Wholesalers in Terre Haute after 33 years.

Survives include his wife Becky of Mecca and 6 children, Sandra Wildman, Vickie Wildman, Lori Ann Wildman, Danny Wildman, Andrew Wildman and Jerry Wildman; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 brothers, Terry and Max Wildman and 1 sister, Barb Plank. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeffrey; 2 sisters, Helen Bills and Vivian Holaday; and a brother, Ed Wildman.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., at Barnes and Rice Funeral Home, 111 East High Street, Rockville, Indiana, with Rev. Donna Hardesty officiating. Visitation will be Monday, from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery near Wallace, Indiana.
